So, I'm doing my first build, I don't have a completely set in stone budget, but for the most part, I'm somewhat near $1500, I could fluctuate $200-300 I suppose though. I don't need peripherals or anything like that, just internal and case. I plan on modding the crap out of that bitfenix ghost though, I plan on adding a lot of things onto this in the future as well. I plan on adding a 2-4 tb hard drive in soon after and I definitely would like a sound card in the future. I'd like as many recommendations as I can get. I already have the RAM and the hard drive, but I'm open to all suggestions. I think I just need to pick out a PSU and a CPU, I would like a PSU strong enough to power 2 of those GTX 770 GPU's on the list. Here's what the build looks like so far... Assuming the link I'll post works.

I plan on doing a lot of gaming, a lot of photo editing, and (because I just got access to a makerbot) some CAD engineering, the better the processor and all the other parts can do these things the better. Again, I'm open to all suggestions.

1500 USD?

Are you dead set on using sli?

$1500-$1800 USD, I'm deadset on nothing. I'd like to be able to run 3-4 monitors... Which shouldn't really be a problem. I'm open to whatever you can throw at me and have me comprehend. Your advice is limited to how well you can explain how it works, because I'm not incredibly new to this but I may need a little advice when it comes to SLI vs Crossfire and stuff of that nature.

Are the monitors or any other peripherals included in the budget as well?

Monitors not included in the budget.

My recommendations: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2gLyj

Replace the stock h100i fans with the Arctic F12's. Wait for aftermarket 290's.

I don't know about the R9, because the reason I had the Bitfenix Ghost case with the Windforce was to optimize silence and I've heard from a few friends that the r9 is a reputably loud card. I know this shouldn't matter, and it really doesn't bother me that much, but I was thinking of a red and black design, but that doesn't really matter. I suppose liquid cooling the R9 is a possibility, don't know how I feel about that though, all in all the main thing I'm worried about is performance, but silence is a close second. This is in part because I have had a jet engine of a PC for the past couple years and, not that it's an absolute necessity, I would enjoy a more quiet PC. Also, what do you think of FX-9590? There's a newegg bundle that comes with a liquid cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113351 But as I type this I think it might force me to get a more expensive motherboard so... eh. Not 100% sure what to do.

The reference cooler is loud. That's why I said to wait for aftermarket ones.

The 9590 is hardly worth the money.

Would the FX-8350 be able to handle everything? I guess the load wouldn't be too bad, but with the R9 I'd certainly be able to throw ultra level graphics at it right? One of the main things is CAD rendering and image rendering, would I be able to sufficiently run everything without a problem?

The 8350 would be enough and is great for CAD rendering.

You should be able to run games at ultra just fine. If not, then everyone else should be having the same issue since a 290 is almost as good as it gets.

Thanks, that'll work great then. Should I wait to buy the 290X?

There's no point to get the 290x over the 290. They're very similar to the point where the difference may be within margin of error.
