Sound Card and $50 Headset

Georgie

I'm looking for a $50 headset for gaming. There either needs to be a mic on it or a good mic that fits in the $50 budget. I will be using it for gaming but it doesn't have to be a "gaming" headset.

I was looking at this sound card. If you would recommend a more expensive one then please recommend a cheaper headset so that it totals around $80.

Spend 80$ on headphones/headset. I would say wait and get something like the Corsair 1400.

What about this and the sound card or a $40 sound card?

M50 is a bad value at anything over $100. M35's sound about the same with a slightly less refined detailing, for $66 they are more competitive.

Sorry I saw the M50 for about 100$ a few times.

Ok so no soundcard.

If I were to get the M35's what mic should I get? I can use a desk mic as well if that is an option.

don't be, they are a good headphone, and its easy enough to find them for $100 often enough, just that for the standard $150 there are better values.

Zalman makes a cheap clip mic.

Is this taking into account the cyber monday amazon sales?

Those are better, but they have a love or hate sound signature, if you like it more its not a bad headphone though.

That seems risky I think I'll just go with the first suggestion.
