The build looks solid, though maybe a different case but that is often a purely personal preference thing. What I would suggest for a good 1440p monitor is one of the Korean panels that you can get on Ebay for around $200 US, with free, fast shipping. Qnix and Crossover are popular models. Some can be overclocked to around 110Hz/120Hz, have Freesync, have much better colour and graphics quality generally than TN panels, and are often perfectly fine for gaming. Dreamseller on Ebay is one of the better known and trusted sellers. You can get so called 'pixel perfect' models for a little more and it's sometimes worth it for piece of mind, but I've done fine with a non pixel perfect monitor (though the pixel perfect one I bought was indeed pixel perfect).

The poor CPU will be starved of memory bandwidth. Faster RAM is a must in this case...

I'd argue that that from a pure gaming performance standpoint, the i5-8400 with 2666MHz memory is a better choice. For £400, you can have an i5-8400 with 16GB of memory. Use the stock cooler.
