Lenovo ThinkPads would probably work pretty well for you.

I have plenty in mind but I would rather make a few recommendations on what you should do first...

Keyboard and screen are going to be two huge comfort zones for someone developing software, you should venture out to your nearest tech stores (Best Buy, Microsoft Store, etc) and give the keyboards/screens a feel.

The keyboard on my wifes XPS13 is great but the screen (albeit beautiful) isn't comfortable for me to look at for lengthy periods of time.  My 17" Zbook has a decent keyboard and a screen that I can stare at for days but the thing is a mammoth.

I recently picked up the HP Spectre x360 13", both the keyboard and screen seem comfortable but it's a bit early to tell for sure and I would probably rather have the 15" for the comfort if I were using it for long periods of time.
