this can be modified a little, you could put a 1050 ti and get a little nicer motherboard or something. I dont know what you planning to do about windows

The i3-8100 performs slightly better then the i5-6500, maybe a +10% performance increase. Added in the 1050ti 4GB variant for more GPU performance. For cheaper motherboards with the locked coffeelake SKUs, I'd wait until 2018 when the B360 motherboards come out, they are essentially cheaper boards for locked coffeelake processors.
