Basically the only difference between aftermarket cards and founders edition cards is overclocking headroom and cooling.  Typically, you should look for cooling, noise performance, and sometimes looks when comparing different aftermarket coolers.  From what I know, the only reason someone would get a founders edition card is because of cost or they are using it in a case that has little airflow.  Blower style cards (like the founders edition) will work better in cases like this where there is little airflow.

Should i get an gtx 1080 founders edition or a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5X, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Card 08G-P4-6183-KR please help

Normally I'd tell you to pick any other card than a top tier card, but since we're comparing 2 different 1080's, I have to go with the EVGA 100% hands down all the time. I have never had an EVGA product let me down before, even when I short circuited my EVGA PSU.
