Can I use these

Okay gigabyte gave a 4 pin and a 5 pin on the board but put the 4 pin pretty much the middle of the board and I don't want to run the plug there. Can I not use the 5th white led pin and plug in a 4 pin rgb connector? I couldn't decide if this would go here, peripherals or motherboards. So I put it here.

You can as long as the plug has enough clearance for the unused 5th pin.

I figured on either isolating it in electrical tape or something so it doesn't short to case. Does have enough clearance I tried that.

Yeah you'll be alright then, just be sure to check the orientation (polarity) as the connector is not keyed so it can be installed backwards.
