Do y'all recommend the Razer Deathadder Elite over the Corsair Glaive?

deathadder has a pretty good reputation for being a good FPS mouse. i dont know much about the glaive but the sensor differences should be minimal since I would SUPPOSE the glaive's sensor isn't bad. Just go for ergonomics or features if you want. I personally have a Zowie EC2-A and that's dealing me fine.

Tbh, it’s whichever is more comfortable in your hand.

I’ve been hunting the perfect gaming mouse since my old G5 died, and have been through Roccat, Logitech, Corsair and Razer trying to find something comfortable.

What I’ve learned is that I like lighter mice around 100g, and with a wider thumb rest. And, that there’s really very little difference in terms of real word performance. They all have sensors that are decent and way higher dpi than anyone needs, and buttons that feel good and are rated for multi-million clicks. I’ve also not really noticed much difference in build quality or reliability.

So you're looking too? I  like the RGB on the Glaive, but lately Razer has made their lighting more customizable with Chroma Configurator. Also, I plan on getting a k95 RGB Platinum and I thought that a Corsair mouse would go along nicely, and nothing comes close when it comes to the customization that Corsair's CUE2 offers. But hey, the design of the Elite is better, the build quality is better, the side buttons are better, and there are more dpi buttons too for 5 dollars more. I play online Minecraft and Overwatch so I'm just looking for performance where the Elite beats the Glaive. Heck the only thing the Glaive beats the Elite in is RGB.

(sry for sounding so nerdy I'm just thinking aloud on this post :P)

I know but you have to think of performance. You can't buy a wireless logitech m-series for gaming just because it feels good.

i think all razer products ive had had a poor build quality compared to anything else :S

the plastic used is just too cheap quality ( ive had several keyboards of razer and mice , daimond 3g ect )

i couldnt recommend razer for that reason :)

if ud had to pick for quality id go with corsair

I actually have a Corsair K65 keyboard which is the best keyboard I've ever used /owned (went for it because of the speed switches and the 10keyless design). So I'm sure you'll love the K95. One thing with the Corsair software though... It has one of the steepest learning curves I have ever encountered in software - so be prepared for the fun of learning how the hell it works! :)

At the moment I am using a Razer Basilisk mouse. Which replaced a Logitech G502, which replaced a Roccat Kone XTD, which replaced a Corsair Sabre, which replaced a Razer Naga 2014... (Yeah, I'm really picky with mice and on a journey to find something as good as my old G5 and MX508).

I got rid of the Naga as I stopped playing so many MMO's and found in shooters I was accidentally squeezing the side buttons

The Sabre was too flat, so I always felt like my little and ring fingers were rubbing on the mouse pad - but the weight was fantastic

The Kone XTD was too big for my hand size, especially in height, but a really nice well made mouse with a lot of customisation and features. Really liked the RGB software config

G502 was fantastic, but for some reason after prolonged use I'd get a pain in the heel of my hand/palm. Excellent software

Basilisk is surprisingly good so far (had it about 1 month maybe). The 'clutch' is  nice compared to other sniper/thumb buttons. The tension adjust on the mouse wheel is ok, but not as good as the weight of the G502 and infinity scroll. And overall the shape fits my hand really nicely, and I love the rubberised thumb rest. Only thing I miss on the Basilisk is left/right click on the wheel - but I suspect I'll stick with this mouse even though Synapse 3 crashes a lot at the moment.

Never tried the Glaive, but it looks good.

I think it really depends on how the mouse fits your hand. Personally, I've owned 5-10 different mouses over the past few years, and I finally found one that stuck with me. It's the Logitech G502. At first glance, I didn't think I was going to enjoy it because it looks so uncomfortable, but like a shoe, you eventually break it in, and become used to it. I've also owned the Logitech G403, Deathadder Chroma, and the Zowie ZA11. All of which are good, but don't have the added features that the G502 has. If you're looking for a good list, I recommend checking this out. Comfort = competitive in my opinion.
