OK, so I reinstalled a driver (well, tried a different one) because the other driver was giving me lots of artifacting. Now, there's no more artifacting, but I've had 2 random black-screen shutdowns. My monitor goes to sleep and a few seconds after, my PC turns itself off, followed by a 6 short beep code that from the bit of research I did do had to do with the GPU. The only thing I can think of is that it's a thermal issue, which I'm going to diagnose right now by cranking the fan curve to 100% and playing some CS:GO, but I'm not sure what else it could be. Thoughts? My specs are in my signature. Thanks!

black screen of deaths are more critical then blue screens of deaths

are u sure the card is stable? it might not just be a driver issue if its BLACKSODs

also artifacting usually isnt caused by drivers but actual hardware defects

artifacts + blacksods ... im quite convinced its with the actual hardware related and not the drivers :v  if ur lucky its just the drivers tho

I think it's just drivers because artifacting only occurred with a different driver. It could also be a PSU issue. I hope it's not a GPU issue though :(

it can also be a shutdown due the the powersupply, card not getting enough juice so it starts artifacting, and when u try to load it it crashes into a BLACKSOD

^ i just edited that in but since u replied i put it here lol

am just saying that a black screen of death is more critical then a blue screen of death, its usually caused by extreme critical software issues or hardware issues :)
