Can't determine which component is damaged

Go to solution Solved by ttam,

Trend of 4gb missing ram. Sounds like you have bad dimm slots.

Blue screen coming from a USB driver.

Everythings pointing to a board IMO

When I first installed my 4x8GB kit of RAM into the motherboard it showed that I had only 28GB of RAM installed. Turning the XMP profile on and off again fixed this issue for some reason. I then turned XMP mode on again to get the 3200Mhz speed the RAM is capable of but with XMP mode on I get random blue screens while playing games and games will randomly crash. I tested my RAM with XMP on in memtest86 and not even one minute in I had over 7000 errors. Turning off XMP yielded no errors in memtest86 running at default 2133Mhz. I tried upping the voltage to each RAM stick by +50mV and after +100mV but I had no luck in getting the XMP profile to work without errors. My motherboard shows no RAM is installed in the board explorer but it detects the 32Gb of RAM which I found quite odd. I tried putting only 2 sticks in and when I booted into the bios only 12Gb of RAM was detected. I then tested each of those sticks individually and in both of the 2 slots alone and they both showed up as 8Gb in each slot. I have been making sure the RAM sticks are in all the way each time. I can't decide if it's an issue with the RAM, the motherboard, or both. I ran a Aida64 stress test on my CPU (not overclocked) and RAM at 2133Mhz (no XMP) and it was going fine, no CPU throttling. It was only when I stopped the stress test that my computer blue screened because of: SiUSBXp.sys. So I now think it's not just XMP mode that is causing issues. Hell it could even be my CPU that is the problem because when I was building my computer I installed the AMD standoffs and let my CPU run at 100 degrees for over 6 hours trying to install windows. I thought the BIOS temperature reading was wrong because the cooler was millimeters from touching the CPU and it looked to me like it was on properly until i pushed on my cooler and the temp dropped to 40 degrees. I am clueless on how to approach this problem now. I have gotten bluescreen errors like: driver_page_fault_in_freed_special_pool, SiUSBXp.sys, unexpected kernal mode trap, KMode exception not handled. I'm sorry how long this is but I felt I needed to give the full story. Please help me i'm so lost.
