I just got all the parts for my custom hardline loop in, and I made a pretty huge mistake in my measurings. I have a front mounted EK 360 XE and I was planning on using their 120mm pump mount to attach my Pump/Res combo.

The issue I encountered was, the Res interfered (greatly) with my 1080 Ti. I was able to shift the radiator an inch upward, but the only way to vertical mount the Res like I planned, would involve moving the GPU to the middle (x8) slot. (Looks kinda shite too)

So instead I’m going to get creative, probably use an SSD mount or something, but I’m going to have to mount the pump/Res horizontally, but I’m unsure of any issues this could cause, the pump/Res would be at the very bottom of the loop, but this is my first venture and I’m unsure if this could cause any problems.

(The case is the maker 5t, which i greatly regret buying)

You can mount the reservoir horizontally if needed, or if you want to keep the vertical look put the res in the bottom of the case with a short tube if it's still too tall.
