When I start my laptop after sleep mode it take a while to turn on the ir camera, thus taking long to log via Windows hello. After the camera is on it unlocks very quickly and when turn on the laptop there is no delay to turn it on. What can be done to improve that?

You could type your password xD just kidding. I would poke around in settings, control panel and the BIOS and see if you can find anything relevant.

I'd assume its just taking the time to get everything working.

It starts quickly when you've unlocked because its ready and started.

I don't think so because he says that it turns on immediately on boot (correct me if I'm wrong) but takes time to respond after sleeping. It sounds to me like something you could fix in settings or the BIOS.

It's the opposite. The first time I turn the laptop on it works well, after locking it and using windows hello again it takes more time.

it worked really well @7:07 minutes

Hmmm, I would say it is:

A. Broken in someway

B. Some setting messed it up

C. Drivers

I would still check settings and BIOS, also look for driver updates. If that doesn't work and no one else tries to help you, I would reinstall Windows as its usually easier than actually fixing the problem.

That seems more like a warming up thing to me.

It's brand new so my theories are Dell bloatware or it's because of the slow hdd

Ah, ha! In that case, I figure its the HDD. I would use the Win10 Fresh Start feature to remove bloat though too (just because).

Maybe I'll replace the HDD for an SSD and do a clean install.

Even if it doesn't turn out to fix anything, these are extremely worthwhile things to do anyhow!
