I’ve been joggling on what I want to do with this case. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Csw323/cooler-master-case-rc430kwn6

I want some build ideas from everyone. I only have thone case. I do have a CX430 PSU, but I don’t want to use it.

Budget: none, but no part can exceed 120$ except for CPU (200$ max) and GPU (175$ max) I can’t buy it all once, so I have to buy a part every two weeks.

Location: US.

Use:Probably gaming and heavy multi-tasking.

OS/Peripherals: Windows 10 Pro (I will be experimenting with its features) and full set of Peripherals.

Requirements: It has to use the case listed above. I am open to modding it. It also has to be from either Newegg or Amazon. NO Razer Products of any kind.

Notes: I like heavier Mice.

I just need ideas. I do have a gaming rig, and I have a 4000$ PC coming along within the monthes.

I actually have that exact case, just with a blue fan. The from if the case rattles due to the HDD, making an annoying noise, it has no dust filters for the intake fan, a crappy dust filter for the PSU, no room for cable management, I don't think you can fit a 240mm AiO into it and the CPU cooler clearance is just 158mm. It is fairly cheap, though. But the P300 would blow it out of the water.

Don't buy parts one by one. That's stupid. Save up, and get them all at once.

I can’t get it all at once. Saving up has never worked for me as whenever I save up, sometime comes up that requires me to spend that saved up money on something else.

the case I already have and I want to build in it.

I agree with the p300 being a better choice but as far as buying the parts go it isnt stupid to buy them one at a time especially if they decide one what they want to get. A lot of people buy parts as they can afford them

I got the case for 5$, so I think that’s a decent deal. It’s not a good case, but it’s a case nontheless.

What if something is DOA? You may not know for several months. If you get all the parts at once, you'll find out within the 1 month time frame, in which you can return any parts (for most retailers in most countries). New parts come out, so it's best just to get something later, instead of having to return items

Sure there is that with DOA but couldn't you do the same but just RMA it? Essentially it is the same but you would be using the warranty which in most cases would be several years

I have another system that I can test parts out on anyhow. Like the PSU, I can check if the motherboard works by hooking up some fans or a GPU and see if the fans spin. For storage, I can format and test it on my PC. I can test any part I buy except for he CPU (unless I had the motherboard first)

Even if you do that, parts come on sale, prices tend to drop at least a little over time, and new parts come out. It's not like you're going to use the parts that are just lying around, collecting dust.

The only reason why I am buying them one at a time is because I have to, not because I want to.

It makes no sense to me. Is it physically impossible to save up enough to buy it all at once?

Yes.

I just parts list ideas :/

I was thinking of setting up a NAS and a network, so the whole household could store all their data into it. But I would like to hear other ideas.
