Hey guys, recently I started building my computer. So I put everything together, and it didn't turn on. So I was looking making sure everything was put in to correctly, when I noticed my CPU socket pins were bent. The CPU was already put in while it was bent, so I am hoping that my CPU is not broken and that I can just get a new one. Anyone know if my CPU could have been fried or broken? Thank you!

CPU should be fine. Depending on how bad the damage is you can usually fix the bent pins. (Post pics?)

Ok thank you. By the way, I actually did try to fix the pins and but it back in and it still did not bend. A friend who is very good with computers looked at the MB with me and he said one of the pins were very loose, so he concluded most likely that when I put the CPU in the socket it gets bent back and that the best option would probably be to just replace it. It is most likely what I will do.
