Hello I am helping a friend build a pc and I was wondering if this is a good setup. He plans to play games like Ark, GTA 5, Counter Strike, and other games.

It would be fine. I would wait for Intel 8th gen chips to be released and I'm pretty sure you can go down to a EVGA 430 watt semi modular (must be semi modular or the cable stuff will suck). If you do wait for 8th gen make sure you get a compatible motherboard. Make sure your 1050 Ti has a power connector so that you can better overclocking abilities. Also, you need a cpu cooler. Ram seems expensive but I haven't checked prices recently. I think you could find something cheaper but still from a reputable company. I don't think you should get that monitor. Not from a major brand and you probably will want to spend about 100 dollars and get one from a reputable maker. Personally, I would go for a 128 GB SSD but that is your choice. Unless you have a Windows key or are gonna run Linux or BSD you need to include price of Windows.
