They are definitely not 100% universal. Maybe some cases use similar or the same mechanics, but that is not universal I would say.

 

Anyways, if there are replacement parts available will depend on the specific case we're talking about. So which one is it?

What case? Some are much easier to replace than others.

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

 

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

That case unfortunately doesn't use a standard system, so you can only use the original mounting system.

You should have 8 rails included (2 needed to install 1 hard drive), do you not have any left? Otherwise, try to contact the manufacturer (Zalman) to see if they provide spare parts.

If I can't find them I won't be too upset. This was a 50$ case I was just using to hold me over till I get something good. They came in a separate small box inside the case I must have misplaced when installing the mobo. So yeah if ones gone they all are... Still a little annoyed if they're gone. :/

Since mechanical hard drives have spinning disks in them, I really can't recommend installing them without mounting hardware.
