Some SATA ports can be shut off by inserting an M.2 drive.

Please give us waaaaay more info. Specs, etc...

I bought new intel m.2 ssd 600p and when i put it in the pc my normal ssd isn't detected anymore

check your MB manual to see if installing a M.2 NVMe drive disables any SATA ports.

Some sata ports on the motherboard can be occupied when an M.2 drive is installed. Try a different sata port
