Hi there, I am wondering if anyone happens to know the performance difference, primarily in 1080p as the main video game I play is dota 2, between a single sapphire rx 580 4gb nitro and 2 msi rx 470s 4gb armor in crossfire. Like I said I mainly only play dota in 1080, but can't really find any info that compares these sets of cards.

Any advice/info is appreciated.

Thanks

They may have better performance sometimes, but crossfire scaling hugely varies from game to game, and two 570s will also consume much more power.

CPU: Ryzen 1700@3.9ghz; GPU: EVGA 560 Ti 1gb; RAM: 16gb 2x8 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000; PCPP: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b3xzzM

An RX 580 isn't _really_ any faster than an RX 470 if you overclock both. The 580 has a few extra shaders that don't do much, and the thing guzzles power because it's overclocked and overvolted so high out of the box. The cards are in the same performance class, and the 470 is a better value if it's cheaper. And crossfire is basically dead, so I'd just get a single 470 and put the money towards a different upgrade.
