Would you recommend me to build a Ryzen 3 1200 PC or a Pentium G4560 PC?

My budget is quite low, around 470USD.

I already have a pretty decent graphics card (Radeon 7770) and I have already selected the parts needed for both of the builds. Here they are:

Pentium build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/msnFRG

Ryzen build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qj3MzM

The Pentium build in my country would cost around $470 and the Ryzen build would cost me around $425

PS: I live in Uruguay, South America, that's why it's more expensive than what you'd get in the USA or Canada.

Thanks for you advice!

Ryzen 3 is a better processor than the Pentium, so it would make no sense to pay more for Pentium.

PC Build: R5-1600.  Scythe Mugen 5.  GTX 1060.  120 GB SSD.  1 TB HDD.  FDD Mini C.  8 GB RAM (3000 MHz).  Be Quiet Pure Wings 2.  Capstone-550.  Deepcool 350 RGB.

Peripherals: Qisan Magicforce (80%) w/ Gateron Blues.  Razer Naga Chroma.  Lenovo 24" 1440p IPS.  PS4 Controller.

Audio: Focusrite (Solo, 2nd), SM57, Triton Fethead, AKG c214, Sennheiser HD598's, ATH-M50x, AKG K240, Novation Launchkey

Wishlist: MP S-87, iPad, Yamaha HS5's, more storage

ryzen, you want faster ram though, 3000 mhz if you can, but at least 2666

I think you might be right, but you should consider that in the Pentium build, I'd have a 16GB Optane and in the Ryzen build, I'd just have the mechanical drive.

you could bring the ryzen build cost inline with the intel one and buy a 120gb ssd to boot off of ;)

I already have the graphics card, I can get a refurbished 2TB HDD for the price of a brand new 1TB HDD, and the PSU is pretty much the same.

I might go for the 2666mhz ram though.

Anyways, thanks for you time.

16gb ram?  while this is true, it won't make a big difference on a budget build.  for rendering movies, i'd still take the ryzen with the 8gb over the pentium.  but for gaming, 99% of games won't benefit from 16gb

It does not say 16gb of ram, It says Intel Optane 16GB. If you don't know what Optane is, I'm pretty sure Techquickie has a video explaining it.

oh.  well in that case 16gb of optane is not significant enough to pay 50 dollars more for a worse processor
