Middle mouse button stopped working.

I originally encountered this problem about 1-2 month/s ago and solved it by doing a simple restart. It isn't dust or anything physical that's contributing to it not functioning properly. Is there some key combination that i may have pressed by accident and is there a way to get it working again without having to restart.

Mouse is a Razer Deathadder Chroma.

Plug it into another PC and see if it works there.

Not really possible, Only other PC is like 10 years old and probably doesn't even work and then there's the xp laptop from 2006...

I was looking more for a way to solve the problem without restarting because that solves it but is a long process for me since the OS wasn't installed on the ssd. (facepalm) But thanks for the reply!

Just plug it into the laptop or old PC, there's no reason it wouldn't work and it's at least worth a try. USB mice are pretty much plug and play.

You're missing the point, I know that it works, If i restarted my pc now it would be fine. Plus, I can't be bothered to wait 12 MINUTES for it to even turn on.

yeah.. It's that bad.

I just thought that there was something to do with software that disabled it. (well it must have been the software since the mouse is fine.)

Again, thank you for your help.

I just encountered a similar issue with my Corsair Scimitar mouse, middle mouse scroll works fine, but MM button doesnt seem to be responsive at all.  I am going to test the mouse in my GF's pc, I'm curious if anyone else had a similar issue with the scimitar and if so what their work arounds/fixes were.

So far my troubleshooting involved

1) unplugging mouse and switching USB ports
2) disabling CUE

3) uninstalling re-installing drivers
4) updating firmware.

I am thinking of a firmware rollback on the mouse but from what I read I need to put in a request to corsair to get that, so I'm thinking of doing that as my last step.  Again, im not asking for the end all fix, just some other thoughts from users who may have had similar issues.
