Cross platform (*nix/Windows) Benchmarking software?

Ideally a debian-friendly *nix as that's what I am using.

I'd like to test several systems I have here, and some kind of benchmarkijng software should do it, but I have here a mix of debian-based nixes and Win7. My google-fu isn't really turning up anything solid.

Suggestions?
