The Parameter is Incorrect

 All Im trying to do is install my new video card. ;-; 

Radeon amd HD 3450 512MB. Everything installs fine and gets to the very end then all of a sudden a window pops up saying "Error Message: The parameter is incorrect." This of course is not the first problem Ive had, I cant get my BIOS to see the PCI1 slot in my motherboard and because of my Windows XP os I cant update to a more recent BIOS. Someone help me please?

XP is no longer supported....can you find a Win7 installation disc and use the trial?

 

why are you using that card if you dont mind me asking

huh?... Its all I could afford. But its better than the Quadro 290 I was using before hand. An what do you mean? I can use a trial to install the new bios?
