Cheap phone around 150-200gbp

yungblood

I got pissed of and lobbed my iphone 6 at a wall, luckily enough for me i had finished paying of the iphone. I am looking for a phone capable of browsing facebook + using the steam mobile authenticator. THIS IS ALL I USE MY PHONE FOR.

Oneplus X should be more than capable for that

these phones look good, have the starting bugs been ironed out? I heard rumours about fires, and the phone switching of when you call 999. Also, what is custom rom support on these phones like?

Yeah The oneplus x has been around for a while while so i'd be confident with having no bugs, as for rom support it looks pretty good

Any used One Plus phone really, the X is neat, but it wasn't really a good phone for the US, lacked some bands we use over here or something. Should be fine for EU use if I remember right.

Most of the one plus phones have 64gb options that should be relatively cheap.

You have no use for emulating games on your phone?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Emuparadise, has annoying ads, but no viruses as far as I can tell. Missing some nintendo stuff now though.

Emulators are on the play store.

8bitdo makes top tier bluetooth controllers as well. They have a super tiny one, and a full fledged one with two joysticks.

My one plus one does up to PSP/DS

I think it's gone from emuparadise, Loveroms has it. just google [game] ROM

Click hijacks are not viruses btw, like if you click a button and it takes you away from the site, those are just high paying ads 99% of the time.

You can install noscript on your browser to disable a bunch of annoying javascript on websites though, may be required for operation.

noscript isnt on chrome, i looked into emuparadise, it looks decent. I might give it a go. i checked virustotal and reddit, all appear safe.

That's a good reason not to use Chrome for daily use lol. Waterfox is just a better version of firefox btw, should try that

Most of the like page 1 & 2 ROM sites are going to be safe.
