Eclipse can't find Java JDK or JRE, how do I fix this?

Go to solution Solved by SHOOK_Linus,

Never mind, I got it to work by installing the offline JRE for java, but while online... weird, the JDK installed as well

I uninstalled all java installations because I was having issues with them, after, I reinstalled java (whatever the regular one is on their main site). Then I installed java JDK x86 into both program files and program files x86 folders under java and in bin folder. I can't get Eclipse to find it in either spot. I've seen of putting it in the "eclipse directory" but EVERYWHERE I look, no one says where the eclipse directory is at. Please Help

In eclipse go to "Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Installed JRE's ".

There you can add your jdk installation directory.

You do not need to install the jdk to the eclipse directory.

eclipse wont start at all so I can't do this
