Help with my FPS.

Go to solution Solved by Bluejay0,

Check your NVIDIA control panel, there is an option for VSYNC. Turn it off and see how that goes.

I am confused too. Maybe a virus?

you got a screen that can output more than 60hz?

Doesn't matter if the monitor only outputs 60Hz, games can output more.

I know... Whats your point? If he has a 60hz moniter it wont matter if its stuck at 60 frames

He means in game frame count, not total output visual frame count

I know but if he DOES have a 60hz moniter it wouldent matter if its stuck at 60....

The advantage of higher frames, if you didn't know, was if that any performance impact like explosions or long range vision will be still having a smooth visual gameplay due to the extra frames able to be sacrificed while will maintaining a smooth 60 frames.

Jeez, you have no idea what you're talking about. I suggest you do some reading.

No your the one that needs to do your reading kid

You clearly have no idea of the problems VSync introduces, so yes, you should restrain from posting ignorant posts like that.
