Amp/Dac Reccomendations

I currently have a pair of HD 650s. I was looking at amp/dac combos to buy, and had pretty much settled on a Nfb 11.28 with the TXCO upgrade. My budget is $300 to $400. Is there any reason why I shouldn't get this amp/dac?

As a genral rule of thumb never spend more on a DAC than your headphones.Just buy like a Sound Blaster E5

That's a good rule for noobz getting into audio. Once you get to something like hd650, more expensive options make sense.

Not totl sure, but something like Valhalla is great

The NFB11.28 is great and very versatile. So later down the road, if you want to get into tubes, you have a great dac to hook up to your tube amp.
