Build (Gaming + Desktop) PC within 1800$

I want to build a complete system within 1800$ for gaming + coding + video editing work.
Please help me select components.

 

I want to keep the processor and motherboard in the high end as I will be scaling at least one component every year to keep the system up to the task for a long time.

 

I am thinking of ASUS ROG Maximus IX Code along with Intel i7-7700K for the task.

 

I am running 2 1080p monitors on the system.

I have the monitors with me but will be buying peripherals.

Wait until October 5th. The 8700K is released then, so that's 6 cores on a mainstream platform.
