setting up a synergy server

i got synergy 50% off from the link on most of linus's videos but i just cant get the software to talk with any of my computers. right now im trying to link a windows 10 machine with another on ubuntu

Sometimes you need to manually enter an IP/Hostname.

If you're using Ubuntu+Wayland you won't see a mouse cursor.

Try disabling SSL just as a troubleshooting measure.

Next temporarily shut off the Windows firewall.
