Depends, I've heard Ryzen does multitasking really well. I personally would go with the 8700K(I'm a sucker for overlocks)

You... probably don't need to upgrade.

 

Are you still happy with the performance of the 6700? If so, keep you money and save it for a time when you actually need to upgrade.

Keep in mind the difference between the two will be rather minimal, unless Intel pulls some RyZen crap.

 

tl;dr IF YOU CAN TOLERATE YOUR CURRENT SETUP, DON'T UPGRADE AT ALL
