Upgrading my VERY OLD PC

I currently have a HP P6-2376..... Please dont laugh... I know it is old...... I upgraded it to 8 gigs RAM.  And I upgraded the APU to A8-3850... 

Now it can not be upgraded any further... The P6 has served my needs very nicely... I am looking to build a NEWER computer... But I am a EXTREME NEWB... 

I have no problem with used parts... Just want room for future upgrades.... I would like to start a little gaming.... I would be playing CS:GO or something similar.

As far as budget... The cheaper the better really... I guess my max would be $200-300 USD... I do not need anything fancy or colorful..... Just a build that has room for future upgrades.

The cheapest way to build a gaming rig is to buy an older prebuilt PC, and slap a GPU in it,  I've been recommending a 1050ti to pretty much everyone to the point where it should be in my signature.  Esp, if you're okay with used parts,  it should run you around $250, with your GPU being the most expensive.

I agree with @ThomasPham that your best option for that budget is to get a prebuilt such as a dell optiplex with a decent cpu and then put a gtx 1050ti in it. You wont have a tone of room to upgrade but it is hard to get that with that budget.

Anything with an i5 in it.  Doesn't matter honestly :D  esp because you're keeping a budget in mind.

Dell Optiplex 790 or similar with an i5. And make sure you get Mini Tower, not SFF.

I would like like to add, keep the form factor in mind, Alot of prebuilts are in a small form factor and will only accept low profile cards.
