Nintendo Switch Controller with PC

I have a Nintendo switch controller and a Windows 10 PC, and I know that you can use it with games using an emulator like x360ce. However doing it this way requires me to have the emulator files in each games' folder which is really annoying, not to mention that the sticks wont calibrate correctly with certain games. What I am wondering is if there's a way to globally have windows, and games, treat the pro controller like it would an Xbox controller.

 

tl;dr x360ce is annoying, is there a better way.
