Iphone wont charge

I am have trouble charging my iphone. I have tried different cords that go into the USB wall charger. I've tried different outlets in the apartment. I have tried blowing out any debris in the charging socket in the phone. Nothing seems to work. Anyone have any tips?

What is the iPhone you have? Where did you get the cable and the charging brick?

charging brick and cord are original. I have an Iphone 7 i believe. I also have a cord for my car charger as well, which doesnt work well either. It recognizes that it wants to be charged ( the icon pops up) but then it goes away and doesn't charge.

When did you buy it? If it's less than a year you can return it to Apple and have it replaced for free.

Bought it last year sometime. I believe its only been a year. I just tried blowing out debris from the charging port with my mouth. I saw a guy on youtube clean the port in his phone with a brand new tooth brush, so im gonna try that since i have one.

Did you try a different charging brick? Did you try your computer?

If it's still less than 12 months from the day you bought your iPhone 7, you can still return it. Or just have it serviced by Apple.

yes both those worked. I finally got it to turn on and charge after cleaning out the port in the phone ( which didnt seem dirty at all)
