I know that TDP of 1070 is 150W , currenty have 960 which TDP is 120W, Iam using a Xeon E3-1270 V3 (I7 4770 equivalent).

That chip is like 80W, your PSU will be fine

Hi,

I posted a topic , if i should buy gtx 980 Ti or gtx 1070 , so i settled for 1070.

But my point is, i have Cooler Master G550M 550W. It has 80Plus Bronze Certification.

PSU is pretty old and i dont know if by time , PSUs lose theirs power.

Requirements of the GTX 1070 is 500W. ( I am buying the EVGA SC2 version)

So my question is, will it be enough ?

It'll be fine, PSU doesn't lose power over time. Also GTX 1070 doesn't require 500W, whole system will require that though

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."
