Mini ITX cases are good for small builds, or you could get an older XBOX or PS4 console and build your PC in that. Or you could buy a Mini ITX case and customize it to your needs in terms of the aesthetics. The hardest challenge with any "custom" shoe box sized cases is mounting the components as well as air flow in the case (It can easily be an opened air case for airflow, more case fans can be added into the case for optimizing better airflow).

Yeah, purely gaming. Around 500-850 dollars. And I'm not sure about Ryzen I really don't know much about AMD. I'm more of an intel and Nvidia guy. But it would definitely be worth a shot

Anyone know anything about this  case?

http://www.coolermaster.com/case/lan-box-haf-series/haf-xb-evo/

It's got a great reputation, but it's huge for a mini PC and it offends me visually. Tons of cooling options. I begrudgingly helped a friend with his build. It was easy to build in. Still hate it though.

haha yeah good point. I just looked at the measurements and you're right it is pretty large for a mini pc.

Add whatever GPU is appropriate for your monitor(s). Do not get the 7350k, wait for Coffee Lake and get an i3-8350k or i5-8600k with a Z370 motherboard. Grab 2x8GB if you want, and can afford. I'd grab a 500GB 850 EVO instead but I included the SL308 to keep costs down. You can save $25-30 on the PSU easily but I went with something good, small, and modular.

I liked this case both visually and build wise. It's not teeny tiny, but it is small yet fits a full sized GPU and a PSU.

Lots of cooling options.

This looks good. Maybe a little smaller? because I want to be able to put it in the corner of my desk so it easily connects to everything and it can be easily accessible.
