Laptop decision

Hello, I think I found the perfect gaming laptop to get for 800-1000 dollars. I originally found the Dell Inspiron 7567 but I was wondering if there was anything else in that price range before I buy.

Was thinking about buying broken laptop and then reparing it? I did it some time ago with dell xps something... 

That can be good if u are in this kind of things. I gained then like 400$ Because i bought it for like half of a price.

Thanks for the answers, I think I will be getting this laptop. One last thing, I heard that the screen was mediocre and that you could change it. What kind of screen/ equipment do I need for this?

If you buy it directly from Dell to get the IPS panel, then yes, it's one of the most compelling options in that price range. Though if you go for sub $1100, there's the Acer Predator Helios 300 with GTX 1060 for $1049, another solid option for the price
