Hey guys, I just put cyanogenmod on my Galaxy S4 and I was wondering if any of you could help me with some problems I have with it. I was reading some post on xda and many thread are not very kind to noob asking "stupid" questions. So I wanted to know if any of you can maybe chat with me on skype or keep the conversation in this thread to help me out?

First of all thank you everyone for helping me out! Ok. First question I have would be ; I have a Galaxy S4 SGH-M919V with Videotron (in Quebec) and after the cyanogenmod I have Model Number SGH-1337M. Will this affect my phone?

Nope, it will not. For example I got Cyanogenmod on my S blaze (yes the first gen) and now my model is a S3. Not having any issues

Thanks for the reply. I also have question about going back to stock rom in case something happens or I want to go back. I was reading how to flash it back with a stock rom with Odin. But also there was some thread about downloading Kies and just reinstall everything with that, but also there was some warning about device in 4.3 that would brick doing that. So which one should I use if I ever wanted to go back?

Yeah.. I read these posts, but I wanted to know with Kies because the only place I found a custom rom for my device was on sammobile.com but their hotfile link doesn't work for me :( I wanted to reinstall stock rom because I had an issue and wanted to try something with it. But I fear bricking my phone with Kies lol.

why would you use kies? flash the stock rom with odin.

that guide @Youbetternot linked is very detailed and has almost everything you need.

Yes I would do that but I can't download the stock rom from sammobile and didn't find it elsewhere. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=22192 this is the one but I can't launch the download. That's why I wanted to try with Kies.

Thank you I'll try it now and update the result :)!!

no problem.

thing with bricking a phone is its never broken unless you try mess with overclocking and other major stuff. so as long as you don't mess with the kernel (if you don't know what you are doing) there is always a way to get back to stock. now you might loose all your data. but you still have your phone working.

Oh I simply wanted to test out cyanogenmod because I might switch phone and sell this one in near future so I wanted to make sure I know how to put stock rom back in.  I'll put cyanogen back on it soon.
