So I've got one of those fancy swiftech AIOs that we first saw at Computex '16 I believe it was.  Great unit, huge fan of the look and the performance.  But in the original video Linus made inside their booth at Computex, he mentioned that the two lighting zones, the reservoir and the waterblock, had addressable lighting zones and that "they're working on software for it".  Year and a half later, I still can't seem to find any software that is compatible with the unit to allow me to control the lights, much less add any kind of effects.  Has anyone else had success with playing around with the lights on this unit outside of the little button on the fan controller?  Might be a pipe dream, but the bits I saw on swiftech's forums just had cryptic messages about "we can't talk about the software yet" or something along those lines.

Here's the unit I'm talking about

ASRock Z270 Taichi

MSI GTX 1070 Gaming Z

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

Alternatively, does anyone know if I could plug these lights into the RGB header on my motherboard and control it from there?

I have the unit, gave up on anything software to control it. The leds seem like an afterthought tbh. A decent bit of the time the left 3 on my res don't even turn on when I boot.

That's a damn shame!  Did you not wanna RMA it?

Nah, I mean it is half on the res, but I don't mind how it looks even with just half on, and it's not super noticeable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but iirc it doesn't even have a usb connection to the mb though, so software is a bit out of the question.
