Hi everyone,

I am still rocking a Sandy Bridge I7-2600K but its really starting to show its age :/

I have been saving up for 6 months and come up with two builds, before I show you the builds let me explain that I have my PC hooked upto my 43" LG 4K Display in the living room. I used to have a computer area then my 2 year old commandeered it and now only use the TV, I also enjoy RPG games like WoW and Diablo, also enjoy Fifa and Driving games, I don't play FPS games any more because I know i would suck on this display.

So which of these builds do you think would be better?

EDIT: The PSU I am using is the Aerocool Integrator 600W

Get the Ryzen system, but don't get an AiO and use that money to get a GTX 1080 instead of the 1070 ;)

And BTW, what PSU are you going to get? Don't cheap out on your power supply. Get one from Tiers 1,2 or 3:

EDIT: And get a 1600 instead of the 1600X

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K | Motherboard: AsRock X99 Extreme4 | Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming | RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws4 2133MHz | Storage: 1 x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB | 1 x WD Green 2TB | 1 x WD Blue 500GB | PSU: Corsair RM750x | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro (White) | Cooling: Arctic Freezer i32

Mice: Logitech G Pro X Superlight (main), Logitech G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper Ultimate, Zowie S1 Divina Blue, Zowie FK1-B Divina Blue, Logitech G Pro (3366 sensor), Glorious Model O, Razer Viper Mini, Logitech G305, Logitech G502, Logitech G402

According to this review, the primary capacitor is manufactured by Fuhjyyu. Stay away. It doesn't even meet Bronze level certification. A CX450 or similar would be better, but you should be able to afford something better for a £1300 build.

That is an amazing build, but I would still like water cooling rather than a HS/F setup.

Just swap the AirCooler for the captain, still cheaper than your original build with better parts

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED

It's really not necessary for a Ryzen 1600, and you'd be paying just for aesthetics. The pump could also make it noisier than the air cooler.

But feel free to change it to a water cooler. £25-40 more expensive
