Sapphire R7 240 good for video editing and production ?

I am thinking about upgrading my gpu to an sapphire r7 240 2gb ddr5. My brother has a lot of video editing and production work and i wanted to know if this card capable of handling that kind of things and applications like premier pro and photoshop. I also wanted to know that this card would run properly on a 230 W power supply by zebronics.

If your brother is doing any video editing and production work then this is NOT the card, even if it's given for free. In fact, for someone doing these stuff they need a much better PC than what you seem to have. The R7 240 is only good as a display adapter that can decode video. That's it.

can a gtx 950 work? or 750?

i have a FX-4100 with 4gigs of ddr3 ram and the m5a78l-mx v2 motherboard, which has an onboard radeon 3000 gpu that is why i despirately need the the upgrade. I am from India. Just need to know that a r7 240 can beat a radeon 3000 or gt 730 in video editing.
