Turtle beach elite pro mic problem

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to solve this problem for a while now and I can't find a solution.

So I hope someone here knows it!

I have a Turtle Beach Elite Pro headset and when I use it, it works perfectly.

But my PC does not pick up any sound going into the mic.

The manual online and the one that was with the product stated that I just needed a splitter for it to work.

So I bought the splitter but it didn't change a thing.

Does anyone know how I can solve this because it feels really awkward when friends/people online are talking to you and you can't answer them back ;)

If you need more info on something feel free to ask, I'll reply asap because I really want this problem solved.

Thank you so much in advace for solving or attempting to help me!

Cheers

Jack Sparrow

As shown on the manual, just one cord

There should be a splitter that came in the box, did you search the entire thing? I'm guessing you did so have you tried plugging the splitter straight into the motherboard or reversing the jacks if they were backwards?

It did not come with a splitter, it says on the manual you have to purchase it for yourself.

Well that's counter-intuitive.  Try using the headset on a computer that has a single mic/audio jack and see if the mic works.  If not, may be a microphone problem and if it does, the splitter is either broken or plugged in wrong.

The splitter is all new, my pc also registers the mic and the headset separately but I can't input sound int o the mic

Haha yeah, it's turned on :)

In windows settings, under microphones and advanced settings, is it recognized? Check to see if you're missing anything from the actual manufacture's page.  Idk what else man

It's recognized and works correctly but then I looked further and it says it doesn't migrate
