How hot should your temperature be for cpu mine stays about 20-40 Celsius.

Depends if it's under load or not 

The lower the temperature the better ofcourse

I don't think you get how processors work, you can overclock you processor untill it gets steady 75-80c under FULL load and I would not recommend even getting to that level let alone past it

20-40c is cold AF if its on load, if its on idle its a high temp.

 

stay under 80c on maxim load (cpu running 100%) and youll be fine

 

over 80c and you risk faster deterioration of your CPU, my pc ran at 87c untill I upgrading my cooling system. but dont do that unless you can afford to buy a new CPU, i have 4 spare ones so idc.
