15TB Prodigy Server Update

Just a quick update here everyone nothing too over the top have just added a little bit of carbon fiber wrap to the front of the HDD's instead of the boring black with white stickers they had before. I think it goes quite nicely what do you think? Any suggestions of anything else to do?

ram - 8gb gskill 1600mhz cl8

boot ssd - samsung 830 128gb

raid 5 - 5 x 3tb wd red

raid controller - adaptec 6805 8 port

case - bitfenix prodigy with side window

fans - enermax vegas

cpu cooler - noctua nh-l9i

mainly home movies and pc backups

i'm guessing bit over 10kg it does have a fair bit of heft to it for its size

no only about 40% full, should last a fair while before needing an upgrade

yeah definitely, is something i'd like to benchmark if i had 8 ssd's, linus has a video where he puts 8 ssd's in raid 0 and get close to 2GB/sec read/write

yeah it was a lot of fun mate
