VG248QE Flickering

So I recently did nothing, and all of a sudden whenever I leave a game or do anything, the screen acts like it turns off for one second then comes back fine. 

 

Does anyone know whats going on and how I can fix it?

do u have ur backlight set to 100%? it could be overheating and shutting down for its own protection , maximum recommended backlight is 80% ^^ , try setting a fan to the monitor to check if temps are the issue x) ( or just reduce backlight )   , if fan/backlight removes the issue it is just temp related
