Use 720P 60 FPS and I use 2900 bitrate with Intel Quick Sync.

my viewers we're complaining about me using 720p, so decided to switch to 1080p and 30 fps, what bitrate do you recommend

For 3MB upload I recommend no more than 3000. And 720P 60 is most certainly more exciting to watch than any video game at 30 FPS. If you have a higher bitrate or use a different encoder you might get better quality.

Twitch doesn't tolerate anything higher than 6000Kbit.

Anything lower than that should be fine although I don't use Twitch cos I care more about the quality of the Stream. I try to do YouTube 20000Kbit

So, 3000Kbit it is. Unless you can find a way to do it somewhere else.

At that speed, I'd personally just record it and upload it.

I know little of twitch and streaming in general, and was shocked at these posts about streaming at 1800 and 2900. I occasionally watch Overwatch live streams, but if they get pixilated or choppy, I leave. I upload to youtube at 1080p60fps 12000 bitrate. I never knew what twitch required or allowed so little.

I used to do 7000Kbit but I upped it to 10000 and then 12000 and then 20000.

I try to do recorded videos at 30000Kbit/s .

I use YT Live instead of Twitch when i do stream cos 6000Kbit/s just isn't enough.
