B350 Tomahawk offset overclock? help.

Can you do offset overclock on B350 MSI Tomahawk? Need help.

UEFI versions up to 1.5 require you to direct input CPU frequency and voltage

As of 1.6 CPU OC is done through multiplier input (1x100 = 100MHz, so 32x100 would be stock for, say, a Ryzen 5 1600). Voltage is still direct input.

Offset isn't used.

 

Do NOT set voltage over 1.350V (as per MSI and AMD's suggestion)

I thought maximum recommended Ryzen voltage is 1.425V

Considering the Tomahawk doesn't even let you input ANYTHING past 3.750V, I'd say that's a pretty board recommendation (Unsure about this limit on v1.8 UEFI. Will try when I get home)

Yeah its 1.425V max 1.35V was recommended as max from Amd as well.

Good luck running 3.750V through traces big few nanometers.

You shouldnt run anything over 1.38V in a long term. For example, i use such voltage only to get the utmost power draw.

Tomahawk is still pretty garbage with the Nikosem things

I literally make the same mistake every single time, since my OC is at 3750MHz or 3.75Ghz. Every. Single. Freaking. Time. I. Need. More. COFFEE.

Yeah, that happens a lot lately. 4 hours of sleep ain't doing my brain any good and covfefe isn't helping at all.
