Hi guys, hope this is the right place I'm asking this.

is the Kraken G12 is compatible with the rx 580?
I have the Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB version of the card and I would like to know if I can use it? or if there is another product that I can use?

It can be risky if you have never done this before. I wanted to buy EK new aluminium line of water cooling for GPU and CPU or NZXT thing and I settled on Hybrid GTX 1080 TI instead and I put a really good fan on top. Temps are 43C when gaming at ultra 4K and I'm pretty happy with it, since I'm not voiding any warranties and I can play at peace knowing nothing will overheat.

If you're careful you'll be fine, but warranty will be void unless your GPU is EVGA GPU since they allow for stuff like this sometimes. I actually called them about this few months ago and they confirmed it in the UK, but it could be different in different countries, not sure.

some ppl dont have the money to drop on a 1080ti hybrid and anyone who is going into watercooling should know what they do.

Just do your research and stay calm and take lots of pictures while installing. It`ll be fine

It's hard to know what to do if they've never done it before, even if they have instructional videos it can be difficult and I'm speaking from experience.

I know that the risk but I don't think that it should be to complicated.

I was thinking to do a custom loop but it's too expensive for me and my current rig isn't for that.

My next pc probebly will be watercooled .

By the way which cooler would you suggest?

didnt mean to sound angry or anything, but almost all of the hybrid cards are stupidly overpriced and doing custom or semi-custom waterloops is not that hard

Not really, prices fluctuate a lot depending on where you are. In my case it was worth adding £50 for a water cooled card. Step down from my hybrid was SC2 for £750 and this one was £800 so I'd rather get the water cooled one for very slightly more.

Yes, but it's not exactly lower tier GPU.

I know 970 wasn't a low tier GPU back in the day, but I just remember that they lied about VRAM being 4 and it's actually 3.5 etc and it just stuck it my mind that's it's a lower tier card. Now it is, but it wasn't before.

yeah that one.
And about the aio cooler, the rx 580 has a tdp of 185watts, so i would choose the cooler accordingly.

here is a list of compatible aio coolers taken directly form the nzxt website:

Compatibility - AIO Liquid Coolers NZXT
Kraken X62, X52, X42, X61, X41, X31, X60, X40
Corsair

I meant that you don't have to pay for the watercooled one and you can take convert them in less cost

if there is watercooled version from the factory, it is usually cheaper to buy that one, but in most cases such a model is simply not available

you would probably get away with the h90 or something but i would go for any of the dual fan radiators.

Sorry, but I am kinda of a corsair fan. xD

I was thinking on the H60 but it's almost o dentical to the H55.

The H90 is 140mm and my case doesn't support that - spec alpha love Corsair as well

the cpu will have the H80 probebly because I want to oc it as much as he can - an I5 7600k
