I'm helping a family friend with a laptop purchase. He came to me for advice, I gave him plenty, and I narrowed it down to exactly what he wants from his purchase.

Budget: $1000-$1500

Uses: Gaming and Work (He's in construction, and uses Citrix from the trailer on site)

Features: Responsive, SSD, touch screen, and "I'm looking to see if they have laptops that have the track pad ability to use like a stylus." I'm not exactly sure what he means by that, but he gave me an example of how one of his co-workers "goes in through citrix to get a file, open it in adobe, zoom in and stuff like that with a stylus." And he wants to be able to play games occasionally.

Any thoughts?

maybe this? http://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/cty/pdp/spd/inspiron-15-5567-laptop/ni155567_bt_s3358e?oc=ni155567_bt_s3358e&l=en&s=dhs

That's a Canadian price so it'll be lower in USD

If not that exact model, something like it.  They have a variety with different GPUs, primary storage, etc. depending on budget and priority of needs

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

As of now the only laptop with a half-decent GPU and stylus support is the Lenovo Yoga 720.

GTX 1050, 7700HQ, 15.6" IPS FHD or UHD display, NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 3, relatively light all-aluminum build.
