Hi,

i'm looking for quite a while now for a rather cheap upgrade for my CPU/Mainboard/Ram. Currently i'm running a AMD FX 8320, Biostar A960D+, 16Gig Ram together with a GTX 1060 6GB (check attached files). But in quite many games i get rather large FPS Drops

Example 1:

World of Warcraft:

FPS in a 40man+ fight go from 50-60 down to almost 0 only to get back up again while nothing has changed in terms of effects on screen to 50-60. Seemingly quite Random.

Example 2:

Battlefield 4:

64 Player Server, most settings to medium or lower, sometimes 20 FPS, sometimes 60 FPS and sometimes even way lower.

I simply run out of ideas what to try next.

Temps rarely climb higher then about 50-60°C (122-140°F) on the CPU side & the highest on my GPU was around 70°C (158°F) as far as i noticed while playing for 1-2h.

Anybody ideas? I also thought about getting a new Mainboard/CPU/Ram...but to be honest...i have absolutely no idea whats better and wont cost me a leg..

Greez

PS: Sry if the grammar is sometimes wrong. English is not my native Language.

PPS: Can i consider myself "lucky" cause one of my pins on my CPU is gone and it still works? (the FPS problems where there way before the pin was gone)

what about the numbers that everybody is talking about? like 6600k and what not? how important are that numbers?

*edit*

That would be a good upgrade and would be able to use your existing RAM, but X58 motherboards are expensive due to popularity and relative rarity of working boards.

Black Knight-

Ryzen 5 5600, GIGABYTE B550M DS3H, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz, Asrock RX 6800 XT Phantom Gaming,

Seasonic Focus GM 750, Samsung EVO 860 EVO SSD M.2, Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe, Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon

Daughter's Rig;

MSI B450 A Pro, Ryzen 5 3600x, 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz, Silicon Power A55 512GB SSD, Gigabyte RX 5700 Gaming OC, Corsair CX430
