DHCP & Routeur

swtscp

How do you you disable DCHP from a router without causing issue to your main routeur?

I have my modem set on my computer with my main router but i'm trying to disable the dchp on another computer without internet because i heard you can crash the dchp from the main router

I'm confused, you have a computer without internet access and you want to disable the DHCP client on that computer?

Or do you want to disable the DHCP server on a secondary router?

Huh?

Not really clear on what you mean.

Do you mean plug in the router to a second computer and then connect the secondary router to the main router?

No, the worst thing that will happen if both routers are operating as DHCP servers on the same DHCP scope is there might be some addressing conflicts.
