I'm looking at upgrading to ryzen in the next 4-6 weeks. Anyway this men's getting new ram as FX processors run DDR3 as most of you probably already know. Getting to the question at hand, ignoring future expansion possibilities, is the any advantage to having say 2x8gb over 4x4gb running at the same speed? If so, how much of an impact does this have?
